Dr. Hensley-McBain receives NIH grant
Dr. Tiffany Hensley-McBain received a grant from National Institutes of Health this month. The grant, Montana’s first NIH funding focused on Alzheimer’s disease in over 30 years, supports Dr. Hensley-McBain’s research on neutrophils in the immune system. Her goal is to determine if these cells contribute to Alzheimer's disease in persons with a specific genetic risk factor.
